With our “Start online and pay-in-store” service, you can lock the transfer fee at the moment you start your money transfer online and save time at an agent location.
How can I lock the transfer fee on westernunion.com?
When you start a money transfer at westernunion.com, the exchange rate available at that moment, will stay the same for 24 hours after you get the receipt online. Once you get to the agent location to complete your transfer, the exchange rate will be the same as the one you saw when you started the transfer online.

What do I have to bring to the agent after I have started my transfer online?
You will be asked to provide the following information to the agent, in order to complete the transfer:
How do I know if my “Start online and pay-in-store” transfer has been sent?
Once you enter all the information for your money transfer online, you’ll get a confirmation with your transfer details. After you visit one of the participatin Western Union agent locations and pay for your transfer, you will get a receipt with the tracking number (MTCN) and the money will be sent. You should then provide your receiver with the tracking number so they can pick up the money. When the transfer is complete, and the money picked up by the receiver, you'll get a confirmation message to your email and an SMS to your phone number if you provided one during registration.
How can I cancel a “Start online and pay-in-store” money transfer?
A “Start online and pay-in-store” transfer can only be cancelled if the money has not been collected by the receiver in the destination country. It will be cancelled automatically, if it is not completed within 24 hours.

Can I get a receipt for my transfer?
A receipt will be provided at the agent location after the transfer is completed.
What is a tracking number (MTCN)?
The tracking number (MTCN) is a unique code assigned to your transfer. aYou will see the tracking number (MTCN) on the receipt once the transfer is completed.
Your receiver will need this number when they pick up their money, and it can also be used to track your transfer. Do not share this number with anyone other than your intended receiver.
