Periódico Digital Centroamericano y del Caribe reports that a new collaboration between AirPak and Banco Azteca will allow Hondurans to collect their remittances from Western Union throughout the entire network of Banco Azteca Agencies.
The (in Spanish) website quotes Pablo Porro, general manager of Western Union Mexico and Central America, who says in the story: “By expanding our money transfer services in Honduras, Western Union offers customers more convenience and ease to send and receive money, connecting more Hondurans with one of the largest financial companies in the world.”
Western Union has operated in Honduras in alliance with AirPak for approximately 30 years.
