If this is your first time making an international transfer with us, you will need to register. In order to do that, all you need is to inform us of the following data: first name, last  name, e-mail, and password.

You may also need to create a profile for yourself later: this will allow us to save your transfer preferences so the next time we can make the process much faster. For your profile to be complete, you may need to tell us your current address, phone number, and nationality.

 

Sending money with a credit1 card: next steps

After registering, you will only need your login and e-mail to use Western Union Canada’s app. Then, all you have to do is to click on the “send money” button on your application. This is where you will tell us how much money you wish to send and where to.

You can send money with a credit card1 using Western Union Canada to more than 200 countries and territories.

You will then be asked to choose how you want the receiver receives the money. They can either receive it directly in their bank account, mobile wallet[1] or pick it up in cash at one of Western Union’s stores depending on the selected receiver country.
