What you need to consider when sending and receiving money
Sending money
- Provide an identification (this may vary depending on state)
- Be ready to provide:
- Country of destination (and state if U.S or Mexico)
- Confirm your first and last name(s)
- Your address and telephone number
- Receiver’s complete name (exactly as it appears in his/her official identification)
- Amount you wish to send (and desired payout currency if applicable)
- Provide the funds (send amount + fees)
- Sign the receipt and get your copy.

Receiving money
- Provide a valid identification
- Be ready to provide:
- Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN)
