Western Union commends the U.K. celebration of 100 years of vote for women

We commend the United Kingdom’s celebration of 100 years of women’s voices in Parliament and are honored to have been invited to be profiled this year in a commemorative publication titled Voice & Vote as a part of United Kingdom’s Vote 100 campaign. The 1918 Representation of the People Act (U.K.) allowed some women and all men to vote for the first time. In sharing our own journey and learnings in this thought-provoking hardback book in the Business and Finance category – we reinforce our company-wide belief that the best leadership comes from engagement and collaboration of diverse ethnicities, genders, and backgrounds. The commemorative edition of Voice & Vote was a collaboration between the History of Parliament Trust, the Parliamentary Archives, the Parliamentary Art Collection and St James’s House.
