Western Union will be hosting numerous events next week during Money 20/20 USA in Las Vegas. Our executives will speak alongside other key leaders from across the payments, fintech and financial services industry. Among them, Western Union’s President of Consumer Money Transfer Khalid Fellahi, Chief Corporate Affairs and Communications Officer Nicole Vogrin and Vice President of Transformation Rebecca Loevenguth will take the stage to share their perspective on the future of the industry.
Additionally, we will also host a series of events onsite at the Venetian, in conference suite Titian 2302 on level 2, where we will showcase our latest products and services and continued commitment to foster an economically connected world. Western Union Vice President of Partnerships, Rebecca Loevenguth will join executives from TransferWise, PPRO and Payoneer to focus on delivering a great user journey in [cross-border] payments. How Technology and Collaboration will Bridge Banking and Money Transfer Business
Western Union’s President of Consumer Money Transfer, Khalid Fellahi will join TD’s Vice President of Payments, Christine Hunter for a fireside chat, moderated by Aite Group’s Talie Baker. The discussion will look at how media and analysts have historically positioned money transfer businesses as a foil to the banking industry. However, recent developments, innovation and partnerships have rapidly shifted this dynamic, marked by money transfer leaders such as Western Union collaborating with the world’s largest banks. In this session we discuss how the world’s largest banks are collaborating with the money transfer industry to provide new and more inclusive services, to drive better outcomes for customers and what this will mean for the thousands of financial service providers.
