Western Union Foundation Offers Relief to Peru

Last week, Peru faced extensive rain resulting in severe flooding. The Western Union Foundation has committed USD$5,000.00 to the Red Cross in support of local relief efforts.

The Western Union Company, a leader in global payment services, is also supporting Peruvian people and their families affected by the recent severe flooding with a no-fee Domestic Money Transfers in Soles for a week, between Saturday, March 18th, and Sunday, March 26th, from select Agent locations in Peru* and the Western Union Mobile App. Peruvian people can support loved ones with No-Fee Domestic Money Transfer Transactions in Soles for one week

Western Union has been operating in Peru for more than 20 years and has an Agent network of more than 1,300 locations.

* Due to the severity of the floods, some Western Union Agent locations may not be immediately operational or possess sufficient funds.
