Provide the number of the identification document used to initiate this money transfer (for example, passport number or driver’s license number). If you have multiple IDs or you are not sure which ID you used for this transfer, please provide additional types and numbers of IDs to help us process your request.

Receiver’s name provided when initiating the money transfer

The updated name needs to match the name on the receiver’s ID to make sure they can pick up the funds successfully.

By signing below, (i) you certify that you are the sender of the money transfer and you are requesting to change the name of the receiver on your money transfer; (ii) you authorize Western Union to update the receiver’s name on the money transfer according to Western Union’s internal controls and policies; (iii) you understand that Western Union may not be able to make the requested change according to Western Union’s internal controls and policies. In some instances, Western Union may be required to provide you with an updated receipt, and the receipt will be provided via mail or email based on your existing preferences.
