How to redeem

The My WU® program offers a variety of convenient methods to redeem your points2 for transfer fee discounts1 and other great rewards.

  1. Log into your online profile with your Western Union® credentials
  2. Select "My WU Rewards" from the menu
  3. Click "Redeem Rewards"
  4. Select the reward you would like

  1. Access the portal using your Last Name and either your My WU® Number or unique email address
  2. Navigate to the Rewards section of the page
  3. Select the reward you would like to redeem
  4. Click the Redeem button

  1. Download the Western Union® app to your smartphone
  2. Log in with your Western Union® credentials
  3. Select "My WU" from the menu
  4. Tap "Redeem points"
  5. Select the reward you would like to redeem and confirm

No smartphone? No problem. You can redeem your rewards via text3.

Instructions
  1. Send a text3 to 88232 with your My WU® number and one of the following keywords:
    • BALANCE – To check your My WU® points balance
    • 2USD – For a $2 discount1
    • 4USD – For a $4 discount1
    • 8USD – For a $8 discount1
    • 12USD – For a $12 discount1
  2. Your transfer fee discount1 will apply automatically to your next qualifying money transfer.

Over the phone

Instructions
  1. Call Western Union® Customer Care at 1-800-325-6000.
  2. Follow the prompts to redeem your points.
