What documents can I use to pick up money in Dominican Republic?

If you need to pick up money at a Western Union® agent location, please present one of the following documents to the agent:

• A valid National identification card

How do I know if my money transfer has been received?

You can track a transfer at Dominican Republic Western Union website. Type in the sender's name and the tracking number (MTCN) and you’ll get an update on the latest status of your money transfer.

How do I pick up a money transfer?

You can pick up the money at any Western Union agent location. You'll need to provide the following information:

• The sender's full name
• The country where the money was sent from
• The approximate amount that was sent
• The tracking number (MTCN)

Acceptable ID documents are also required.
