You can send money online directly to your receiver’s bank account1 or for cash pickup from a Western Union® agent in minutes1.
To start sending money online, simply follow the below steps:
Log in or learn how to register.
If you’re a first-time user continue to step 2. If your profile is registered and verified, skip to step 3.
For first-time users, you will need to verify your ID in person at one of our verification locations before you can send money online.
Select “Send money”
Once completed, you’ll be given a tracking number (MTCN). Use it to track your transfer and share it with your receiver only.
Visit a Western Union agent location.
Share your details
Provide the agent with your full name and a valid government-issued ID.
Share your receiver’s details
– Provide the agent with your receiver’s full name, the destination country and the transfer amount.
– Choose how you want your receiver to collect the funds: cash or direct to bank.
Pay and send
Once completed, you’ll be given a tracking number (MTCN). Use it to track your transfer and share it with your receiver only.
