Restrictions and Special Notes

Sending from Panama:
  • Maximum principal send amount is 7,500 USD per person, per day.
  • Senders must provide valid identification.
Receiving in Panama:
  • Maximum principal payout amount is 10,000 USD per person, per day.
  • For transfers above 900 USD, non-residents must present a passport or migration document.
  • For transfers above 2000 USD, foreigners must present passport and another valid ID.
  • Payee must present correct money transfer control number (MTCN).

General Information:

  • Free Telephone Notification is available upon request.
  • All Money Transfers are subject to a 7% tax on charges.
