    Bangladesh Cash Incentive: How does the extra 2.5% for your receiver in Bangladesh work?

    Send money to Bangladesh with market competitive rate and your receiver will get an additional 2.5% government incentive of the amount sent.

    For senders sending money to Bangladesh: Simply send any amount for cash pickup.  Make sure to inform your receiver of the amount sent and the tracking number (MTCN).

    For receivers 2.5% incentive:This 2.5% Government Incentive is applicable for all Banks in Bangladesh for cash pickup and account transfer.

    Additional information to keep in mind about this incentive:

    • Government incentive is applicable to wage earners remittances only. The sender must be a citizen of Bangladesh and having a valid work visa. Both beneficiary and sender must be an individual to receive incentive. For bank account, its must be an individual savings account of beneficiary.     • Receivers will need to present a valid ID before they can get the money.
    • Bank claim reimbursements from Central Bank for the 2.5% Government incentive.
