Choose how you’ll send money from Thailand

1. Log in or register

– Not registered? Create a profile or learn more.

2. Verify your profile

– Visit one of our Central locations with a valid government-issued ID to verify your identity in person.

3. Start your transfer

– Log in to your profile.
– Enter the destination country and the amount you’d like to send.
– Choose how you’d like to send money – via bank transfer or credit/debit card 1.
– Choose the payout method: cash or direct to bank.

4. Enter your receiver’s details

– If you’re sending directly to a bank account, you will need your receiver’s bank name, code, and account number 2.
– You can save your receiver’s details for convenient repeat transfers.

5. Pay and send

– Pay for your transfer.
– Check all the details before hitting send. You’ll get a confirmation email with the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN). Use it to track your transfer and share it with your receiver only.

Send money on the go

1. Download the app
Download the Western Union ® app on Apple App store or Google Play store.
2. Log in or register

  • Enter the destination country and the amount you’d like to send.
  • Choose how you’d like to send money – via credit/debit card1 or bank transfer.
  • Choose the payout method: cash or direct to bank.

5. Pay and send
  • Pay for your transfer.

Walk in to send money

1. Visit a Western Union agent location
2. Share your details
  • Provide the agent with your first and surname and a valid government-issued ID.
3. Share your receiver’s details
  • Provide the agent with your receiver’s first name and surname, the destination country, and the exact amount you wish to send.
  • Choose the payout method: cash or direct to bank.
4. Pay and send
  • Pay for your transfer via credit/debit card 1 or cash.
  • You’ll get a confirmation email with the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN). Use it to track your transfer and share it with your receiver only.

Pay cash in-store

1. Log in or register
2. Start your transfer
  • Enter the destination country and the amount you’d like to send.
  • Select ‘Pay in-store’ as the funding method.
3. Enter your receiver’s details
  • If you’re sending directly to a bank account, you will need your receiver’s bank name, code, and account number 2.
  • You can save your receiver’s details for convenient repeat transfers.
4. Pay in-store
  • Visit a Western Union agent location and submit a valid government-issued ID to verify your profile.
  • Pay for the transfer in cash.
  • You’ll get a confirmation email with the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN). Use it to track your transfer and share it with your receiver only.
