You can earn points with Western Union Rewards program using any of the following ways:

• You can earn 100 points for every money transfer. Points will be credited in your account once the money transfer is completed. This means once the money transfer is received or picked by the person receiving the money.
• From time to time, you might also receive bonus points offers from Western Union that will allow you to earn additional points for completing certain activities.

You can redeem 500 points to get a discount of up to 2€ on money transfer fee¹.

In some cases, you might want to use a transfer fee discount¹ even though the fee is below the total reward value. For example, you choose to redeem 500 points for a transfer fee discount where the total fee for the transaction is €1.80. In this case, you get a €1.80 discount because the total fee due is less than €2 but no cash value will be provided for the remaining €0.20.
