    3. Once you’ve entered the desired amount, you’ll be asked to choose how the receiver will get the money — in a bank account or to be picked up in cash.
    4. For the next step, select a payment method. You should now be able to see a comprehensive quote.
    5. Click “Continue” to go to the next page and fill out both your own and your receiver’s details. You will also be asked to indicate the reason for the transfer and the source of the funds.
    6. Once you’ve confirmed the transaction, you’ll receive a unique MTCN (money transfer control number) to track the progress of your transfer. You can share this number with your receiver.
    What do I need to send money to Brazil online?

    If you haven’t already, create a Western Union profile for free. Visit our registration page and enter the following details:

    • Your name and address.
    • Details of an official form of ID, such as a driver’s license or a French passport.
