Send money to Israel

First, register and verify your Western Union account to send money internationally to a bank account. Then, enter the destination country and amount you would like to send, along with the recipient’s bank details. Finally, review the details, pay the transfer fee², and we will email you the confirmation for you and your recipient.

To make international money transfers at a Western Union location you will need to fill out a ‘Send Money’ form and pay our agent the amount you wish to send abroad, plus fees², in cash. The recipient will then fill out a ‘Receive Money’ form at their Western Union location and show the agent some ID. Your recipient will receive the cash from our agent.

The Western Union app is an easy way to send money internationally. Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and simply login or register a new profile. Then, start your transfer by entering the destination country and how much you would like to send. Choose to send your money abroad to a bank account, for cash pickup, or to the recipient’s mobile wallet (depending on their location). Enter the receiver’s details and pay via debit card, credit card³, or bank account. We will then provide a tracking number (MTCN) for you and the recipient. If paying to a mobile wallet¹, you will both receive a confirmation via text when the money has been successfully transferred.

An international money transfer can take between one to five business days to arrive¹, depending on the time zones, exchange rates, local holidays, and time of day. Some international money transfers could take up to three weeks to arrive.

The maximum amount of money you can transfer abroad from France depends on the destination country. However, without verifying your identity you will only be able to send €1,000 per transaction. After verifying your identity, your limit on international money transfers will increase to €5,000.
