That’s because Sofort is part of Klarna, and Sofortüberweisung [Sofort bank transfer] is moving under the Klarna brand. A Klarna user account ensures a smoother and safer payment thanks to their two-factor authentication (2FA) feature.

Start a transfer

Enter your money transfer details on the “Send money online” page and choose to pay with Sofort.

Verify your transaction

Provide your mobile phone number and enter the 6-digit code when prompted.

Create a Klarna account

Enter your email address and verify it by entering the code to create a Klarna account.

Finish your payment

Follow the usual Sofort steps: select your bank, log in, and confirm your transactions with a push TAN.
