    How much money can I send to Tanzania?

    You can send anything up to 50,000 GBP to Tanzania if you’re sending money directly into your receiver’s bank account from your own bank account. If you’d like to pay by credit3/debit card or Sofort, you will be limited to up to 4,000 GBP.

    If your receiver is picking up cash, then you can send up to 5,000 GBP. You may send up to 1,950 GBP into their mobile wallet1.

    How do I send money online to Tanzania?

    To send money to Tanzania online, follow these simple steps:

    1. Register or log in to your Western Union profile. Then click ‘Send money’.
    2. Start a new transfer and select Tanzania as the country you want to send money to.
    3. Enter the amount you wish to send, your payment method, and how you would like the money to be received.

    What do I need to send money online to Tanzania?

    To send money to Tanzania online, you’ll need to enter your receiver’s full name as it appears on their government issued ID and their email address. For transfers into a bank account, you’ll need their bank name and account number. For transfers into their mobile wallet1 you’ll need the mobile wallet1 number and service provider.
