You can send a maximum of £8,000 to Zimbabwe from the UK. That’s the equivalent of around ZWD10,500 (dependent on current conversion rates). However, if the recipient wants to receive the money straight to their mobile wallet, there is an upper limit of £1,950.

To send money to a mobile wallet in Zimbabwe, you’ll need to make sure your receiver has activated their wallet with EcoCash. You can then use their mobile number to transfer the money. Just bear in mind you can only make the payment using your debit/credit3 card or bank account details.
To send money to Zimbabwe, you’ll need the receiver’s name and account number, as well as a clear reason for the money transfer.
If you’re paying in person at one of our agent locations, you may be asked for a form of ID and proof of funds. This can include a driving license or passport, plus a recent bank statement or payslip.
