If you’d like to pay using Sofort, then the maximum amount is EUR 5,000. For a credit1/debit card, you can transfer up to EUR 4,000 to their bank account.

    If you’re sending money for cash pickup at an agent location, the maximum is EUR 6,200. To send money for cash pickup online, the maximum amount is EUR 5,000.

    You’ll need to verify your identity when sending more than EUR 1,000.

    How do I send money online to Austria?

    Here’s how to send money to Austria through the Western Union website:

    1. Log in to your Western Union online profile or register for a new one.
    2. Select Austria as your destination and enter the amount you’d like to transfer.
