It’s simple to send money to Hong Kong online. Follow these steps:

To transfer money to Hong Kong for cash pickup, you require the receiver’s full name, address, and contact number. You’ll also need to supply the money transfer purpose, your source of funds and your relationship with the receiver.

To send money to a bank account, you’ll need the above information, plus details about the receiver’s bank account. This includes their bank name, bank code, branch code and account number.

It’s straightforward to send money to Hong Kong in-store:

1. Use the Western Union website to find your nearest agent location.
2. Approach the counter with your receiver’s details and either a bank statement or payslip to prove your source of funds. Verify your identity with a government-issued ID or telephone number.
